This policy explains how Techware Systems Private Limited ("Techware", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through techwaresystems.in. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Who we are

Techware Systems Private Limited, registered office No. 5, 10th Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai 600083; works at No. 36–40, SIDCO Electronics Complex, Block-3, Guindy Industrial Estate, Chennai 600032, India. We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

Only what you choose to send us: your name, organisation, phone number, email address, enquiry type and the requirement you describe in our enquiry forms, or details you share by email, phone or WhatsApp. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial, health or biometric information, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and datasheets, arrange demonstrations, provide after-sales support, and — only if you tick the updates box — send occasional news on products and certifications. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form or contact us, and legitimate business use for an enquiry you initiated.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We store only your cookie choice and accessibility settings in your browser's local storage. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Product videos from YouTube or Vimeo load only when you press play or allow "Media embeds"; those services may then set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. You can change your choice any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. Enquiry form submissions are relayed to our inbox by a form-processing service (FormSubmit), and the site is hosted on Netlify; both act only to deliver the service. We may disclose data where required by Indian law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority, including defence and security agencies.

6. Retention and security

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for the periods required under Indian tax and company law, after which it is deleted. We apply reasonable security practices, including restricted access and encrypted (HTTPS) transmission.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent (including unsubscribing from updates), and nominate another person to exercise these rights. Write to the Grievance Officer below; we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
